A highly decorative vintage French trumeau mirror. This is a particularly nice example of this style of mirror, with a pretty crest in the shape of a bow and a detailed carved frame. It exudes French charm. The central image is a delightful painting of a courting couple mounted inside an oval glass frame adorned with decorative swags. This mirror comes with the original glass which has areas of silvering adding to the aged charm. Condition : Fair / Good. This is quite a rustic piece, the frame has has small areas of wear all adding to the period charm. It has experienced woodworm in the back boards and has been fully treated as a precaution.
