This is a very handsome late Victorian free standing corner cabinet. The cabinet dates to around 1900 and is made in mahogany with box wood stringing. The corner cabinet has dentil inlay to the cornice and stands on a very pretty plinth base with shaped brackets. The astrigal glass is stunning on this cabinet and it is very unusual to get a glass door on a cabinet that goes all the way to the floor like this. The cabinet has its original lock and key and its original blue velvet lining to the inside cupboards and shelves. The cabinet could be used as a collectors cabinet but also a drinks cabinet. It is a handsome piece. The condition is good antique with minor marks from usage as you would expect but no sign of worm or damage. The mahogany is nicely polished. The corner cupboard is 66.5 inches high and 30 inches wide and 19 inches deep and the cupboard runs along each wall from the point of the corner for 21 inches.
